New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has launched an Industry Membership Program, which is a structured, paid engagement model designed to build long-term and strategic partnerships with industry.

The program to be implemented by the Institute’s Corporate Relations Office has been carefully designed to strengthen sustained industry–academia collaboration, enable deeper faculty engagement with corporate partners, facilitate thematic research, innovation programs, and access to institutional facilities such as research labs and enhance visibility and outreach of faculty expertise. The program also offers customised training programs and access to library resources.

The program offers tiered memberships: Silver (Rs 10 lakh per annum), Gold (Rs 20 lakh per annum), and Platinum (Rs 50 lakh per annum), enabling organizations to engage with the Institute across research, innovation, talent, and institutional initiatives.

Along with the above, the members under the Industry Membership Program will get early access to patents, technologies and research outputs.

Key features of the program include:
• Dedicated relationship management
• Opportunities for co-creation of research agendas and long-term collaboration
• Access to faculty, research labs, and thematic engagements
• Curated industry engagement platforms, including CXO roundtables, leadership forums, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) conclaves

“We believe this initiative will create a strong platform for sustained industry–academia engagement, enabling meaningful research collaborations, innovation-driven partnerships, and greater participation from leading organizations across sectors,” said Prof. Jayant Jain, Dean of Corporate Relations, IIT Delhi.

“The program also aligns with India’s growing focus on strengthening indigenous research, innovation, and industry-led R&D to support the nation’s vision of becoming a global knowledge and technology powerhouse,” Prof. Jain added.
