Sumant Sinha Sustainability Leadership Award has been instituted to award a regular IIT Delhi student who has made significant contribution in research in the area of sustainability, energy, waste management, environment and climate change. The prize money for this award will be INR 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only).

Eligibility criteria:

• This Award is applicable to IIT Delhi students only, who are due to receive their degree in Convocation 2023.
• The Award will be given to a student for his/ her research work done in the area of Sustainability, Energy, Waste management, Environment and Climate change.
• The Award shall be decided on the basis of the impact of the research.
• In case of a tie, the award amount will be shared equally.
