New Delhi: The Office of Career Services (OCS), IIT Delhi, is going to organise a two-day annual career fest, ‘Pravritti 2023, on April 14 and 15, 2023, with the theme "Expanding Horizons". 

This year's fest aims to provide a platform for students to explore new career opportunities and gain perspective and valuable insights on various career avenues from industry professionals in various fields.

"Pravritti 2023 promises to be an exciting event with numerous activities lined up for the attendees, including a job and internship fair, interactive career insight sessions, informative workshops, competitions, etc. These activities enable students to enhance their skills and connect with industry professionals. All non-hiring events organised under Pravritti 2023 are open to the non-IIT Delhi students also," Dr Anishya Madan, Head, Office of Career Services, IIT Delhi, said.

This innovative programme is geared towards helping students connect with and understand the cultures of national and international organisations. It attempts to allow students to comprehend and compare different recruiters across sectors and help them understand and build their capabilities via competitions and workshops.

Pravritti provides an excellent opportunity for organisations to engage with IIT Delhi students and find potential employees. Around 50 companies have shown interest and will visit the campus physically/ virtually during the festival to recruit IIT Delhi students.

To prepare students for the event, pre-fest events have already started as of March 2023. Additionally, webinars, mock interviews, and other competitions were also conducted to prepare students and make the most of the career opportunities available. Post-fest events are also being planned to provide further guidance and support to the students.
