IIT Delhi Celebrates 78th Independence Day

New Delhi: IIT Delhi celebrated the 78th Independence Day on August 15, 2024, with great fervour and patriotism. Director Prof. Rangan Banerjee hoisted the national flag.

Students from Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT Nursery, and the Board for Recreational and Creative Activities (BRCA), an IIT Delhi student body, celebrated the event with cultural presentations.

Prabhat Feri by various student hostels and an independence day run for the Institute community were also organized to mark the occasion.

On Independence Day, IIT Delhi honored its staff members with Sansthan Awards.

The Institute also presented BHM awards to hostel employees as well as Security Unit awards to security personnel.
