Strengthening Australia–India Research Ties

A delegation from IIT Delhi joined The University of Queensland in Brisbane for the 2025 UQ-IITD Research Academy Annual Symposium (1–2 July), themed “Innovating Together: Australia–India Research Partnerships for a Sustainable Future.”

The event featured impactful keynotes, industry panels, cutting-edge research presentations, and the exciting 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition by Joint PhD Scholars.

Together, we are driving innovation, fostering academia–industry collaboration, and accelerating research translation.

The UQ–IITD Research Academy boasts of 120+ joint PhD students in frontier areas of science, engineering, humanities, social sciences and management.
