New Delhi: Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer at IIT Delhi has been one of the leading partner Incubators for iDEX DIO.  

iDEX DIO has been a catalyst for nurturing India's defence innovation ecosystem; FITT, being a leading partner Incubator, is supporting 45+ startups working on 65+ challenges launched under the iDEX Program for strengthening the Indian Armed forces and Indigenizing the Defence products to achieve the goal of Aatmanirbharta in Defence.

To support these startups one step further, FITT in collaboration with SIDBI has launched the SIDBI iDEX Partner Incubator Fund that was announced by Honourable Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh during DefConnect 4.0. FITT received the appreciation from the Hon'ble Raksha Mantri and will be one of the three partners Incubator to manage this fund to enhance the financial assistance to the startups.

In the presence of the Honourable Raksha Mantri, winners of the ADITI1.0 (Acing Development of Innovative Technologies with iDEX- A scheme under which the startups working on the advanced technical challenges will receive support up to Rs 25 Cr. launched by the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India) were also announced during the event.

Three incubated startups of FITT were also declared winners of the ADITI 1.0 challenge.

1. Green Aero Propulsion- A deep-tech company developing green hydrogen-based technologies to decarbonise aviation and shipping
2. CYRAN AI Solutions- This startup builds advanced hardware-software technology solutions in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cyber-Physical Security.
3. Komitsudo Energitech Private Limited- A startup providing solutions in the Energy Storage Industry with state-of-the-art technology and services.
