Mental Health Workshop by IIT Delhi
Event Plan for Mental Wellness and Stress Management:
IIT Delhi successfully conducted a workshop on mental health & stress management on Tuesday, 30th May 2023. The workshop focused on importance of investing in mental and emotional health of individuals. It consists of following 04 major verticals:
- Importance of Communication – parent, student, faculty; use of AI/ML.
- Psychiatry, counselling, accessibility, event organization.
- Governance Reforms – Capacity Building, Grievance Redressal, Evaluation, Ownership
- Curricular Reforms & Implementation – Ways of yoga and meditation, stress management, experiential session, etc.
Glimpse of Workshop
The detailed schedule of the workshop is as follows:
- 12:30 pm to 01:30 pm – Lunch
- By 1:45 pm- to be seated/settled for the session
- 2:00 pm to 2:10 pm – ADSW welcomes Director IIT Delhi on stage and lighting of the lamp.
- 2:10 pm to 2:25 pm – Welcome address by Director IIT Delhi
- 2:30 pm to 3:15 pm –Vertical 1; presentations and question answer
- 3:15 pm to 4:00pm– Vertical 2; presentations and question answer
- 4:00 pm 4:15 pm– Tea break
- 4:15 pm to 5:00 pm- Vertical 3; presentations and question answer
- 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm- Vertical 4; presentations and question answer
- 5:45 pm to 6:00 pm – Summarizing, making a protocol and vote of thanks.
- 6:00 pm onwards – High Tea
