Faculty Forum is a registered society of faculty members approved by the board of governors of IIT Delhi. One has to formally join, and most faculty members do. Its goals are to promote academic excellence faculty welfare. There is a small membership fee, which can be deducted very month directly from the salary if you decide to join. For a large part, the forum acts as an online discussion forum.

Senior Staff club is a social club of faculty members and also includes some non-faculty senior staff. The club has a physical meeting space at Gulmohar guest house, where you can meet other faculty members in evenings over a cup of coffee or game of table-tennis. The club also organizes informal get togethers. If you join, the annual membership fee deducted from the salary every April or so. See http://ssc.iitd.ac.in
